Let’s be honest. You started moving less and now sit all day at your desk making plans to start sporting. But that’s where it ends. Just with the plans. In the provence of Utrecht it is no exception. ‘How do we get people to move?’ They asked themselves. That’s why they started SportUtrecht: an initiative that facilitates sports in Utrecht. Every year they award theSportprijsto the best athletes in their provence. And that asks for a visual frame that highlights the importance of their work. 

During the concepting phase our goal was to produce something that makes you so excited that you want to get up from your desk, get out and start working out. A visual story that gives you goosebumps and makes you feel inspired by the countless athletes that this region holds. That’s why this time, we chose something more abstract. Something that tingles your brain. Something that touches, but still tells the story SportUtrecht wanted to tell in a clear way.  

 

Clear, but also poetic. And when you say poetry in Utrecht, people say Tom Strik. With our input he wrote a poem that touched us and SportUtrecht. He made the content; we just made the frame. With the help of local clubs, individual athletes and professionals from all around Utrecht we made a brand movie where spoken-word, music, sound design and high-end images melted together in one dynamic piece. Several layers that all had to be perfect. A big, challenging project with tons of extras, locations and project management on several levels. With pride we dare to say that this work is one of our best. 

The film was displayed at the award show of Sportprijs Utrecht in the Beatrix Theater and was spread on several online platforms.
